We’re planning to host a table at the Children’s Book Fair again this year, the afternoon of Sunday September 21, in Nichols Park. We answer questions about HPC, TNR, etc., and host a kids activity. Last year we did face painting (just cat faces) and temporary tattoos, and may do something similar this time.

We are also planning to have a bake sale in Parker’s at the same time.

To pull off both, we need a number of volunteers, including those willing to paint faces, bake, flier, answer questions, etc. Our ability to do these events, raising both money and awareness of HPC, depends on our members volunteering! This is a great way to get started volunteering with HPC and to meet other members–anyone can help, regardless of experience with HPC.
