Freedom ride for Calvin Jr and Hobbes Jr. Because someone offered to create additional foster space, we were able to pluck them from death row at ACC.

They had been there 3 weeks and their clocks were ticking …

Welcome to these 4 month old brothers and thank to you to Priya for fostering and Gina for transporting.

UPDATE:

Quick update on Calvin Jr and Hobbes Jr, the kitten pair sprung yesterday from ACC.

They have been in their foster home for less than 20 hours and are doing so well.

Their fosterer calls Hobbes “a love machine”. He is sleeping in her lap as she works at the computer.

Hobbes is the smaller brother and has some hip issues that we will be investigating. But it doesn’t prevent him from exploring everything that fascinates him. He is the most curious and adventurous of the two. He loves scratches behind the ears, if you stop he will put his paw on your hands and beg for more.

Calvin the bigger kitten with a beautiful coat and tail. He is still a little bit shy, but has let us pet him.

They both chase each other, randomly run around, and play with toys. They are friendly with kids.

Being confined in a crate is no place for a kitten and Calvin Jr and Hobbes Jr are obviously delighted to be out of the shelter. Just as we are delighted to have been able to admit them.
