We first Marx during a TNR (trap-neuter-return) project a few weeks ago.

He seemed friendly so we decided to give him a chance at life on the inside.

Marx has grown a bit more comfortable and a bit more confident each day. His latest achievement is to let his fosterer touch him and play a little bit with a toy.

Keep it up Marx – it just gets better.

Thanks to our veteran fosterer Kristen for giving Marx the chance he needs.

Marx is a fully vetted young adult and will be available for adoption as his confidence grows.

Introducing Keesa!

Keesa 4 Keesa 3 Keesa 1
This tortie beauty is about 4 years old. Keesa loves to get lovins’ and enjoys her long cat naps. She definitely has a diva type attitude characteristic of many torties, she’s fiesty and enjoys playing with her toys. She does not respond well to dogs at all.
She does very well with kids but she’s pretty fiesty when she plays (as mentioned above). She does “okay” with other cats, although she seems to prefer to be the one and only fur baby.
She has a short tail (shown below), not sure what happened but that’s how we found her.
Write us at to meet her!
