Calico Mesa is a new admit to our program.

We don’t know a lot about her yet — other than she loves to play! — but she is being vetted this coming week and will then be adoption-ready.

We pulled Tammy from the city pound when her days were numbered. Her former family was losing their home and so she lost hers too.

With lots of TLC and a great diet, Tammy is feeling and looking so much better. She tested positive for FIV, but like the many other FIV cats who have found homes through Hyde Park Cats she can live safely with non-FIV positive cats, and live a long happy life.

Her fosterer reports that she loves to play. Tammy especially loves her tunnel and feather toy, chirping when she goes after them. Tammy is three years old and said to be good around children.
