Dexter Ellis is a new admit to our adoption program.
Estimated to be 10-12 months old, he is very social and confident – doesn’t take long to warm up to new places or people.
HIs vetting is pending as he recovers from a wound sustained while he was an outside stray – our vet thinks he burnt himself on part of a car. He is recovering very nicely and gradually gaining weight too.
DE will let you know when he wants pets and will roll onto his back for short chest scratches when he’s especially happy and relaxed.
When he does snuggle, he seems to prefer laying against feet.
Excellent with the litter box! Very talkative when he wants something (usually food) but has learned not be loud at night and could probably learn to be quiet at other times if needed.
We think that with his youth and outgoing personality, DE would benefit from another cat friend as he sometimes gets lonely when left alone and likes to play but isn’t great at doing so by himself.
