Maya

Maya is a beautiful 4-year-old black short hair with a tiny bit of white.

She now needs a new home!

Maya loves sitting on your chest and blocking your view, sinks, and vegetable scraps and dislikes rough-housing. Maya was rescued as a tiny kitten and bottle-fed, and as a result she LOVES people and wants to be near (or preferably on) them. She cuddles more than Jane and has less of a play drive, although she will hunt any laser pointer or dangling toy you bring out. She may be more of a one-person cat, because she gets overwhelmed in groups and can be wary of strangers; once you befriend her, though, she will hop into your lap at every opportunity. Maya is bossy with other cats besides Jane and does not like large or boisterous groups, but she would be perfect with one or two quieter human friends.

She currently lives with Jane, and both need new homes. They can be adopted together or separately–although we think Maya would be better as a solo cat if she is not adopted with Jane.
