Tuxedo Boston was part of a colony that we helped to TNR this past summer. Our trusty TNR team – Susan, Leslie, and Courtney – gave the cats’ carer advice, support, and traps to get the cats in his care all fixed and vaccinated.
Most of the cats from this colony are friendly, so at the colony keepers request, we put them on our waiting list for a foster home. The first one to join us was Mike, and he has been adopted.
The second cat to join us is Boston. She was shy and scared at first but is slowly starting to make herself at home. She is interacting with her fosterers more and hiding less. She has started to vocalize to her fosterers and she enjoys looking out the window when there are birds outside and playing enthusiastically with toys.
Boston’s patient fosterers report that she is making slow but clear progress every day. Boston has been spayed, tested, vaccinated and chipped and is ready for adoption by someone who will give her the time to adjust to a new environment. In return they will get the wonderful gift of a cat’s trust. As always, please send all adoption inquiries to us at hydeparkcatsadoptions@gmail.com !
