Hooray!
HPC is now the proud owner of a microchip scanner. This company was offering scanners free to rescue groups, and one of our volunteers applied. Et voila – we now have our own scanner, courtesy of AKC reunite.
We get every cat who comes our way scanned for a chip, in case it is lost and we can reunite it with its owner. Having our own scanner will make this much easier.
All of our adopted cats are chipped too, just in case they are ever lost.
