We McDormand kittens are 3 weeks old now, and having opened our eyes, we discover that we have two mommies – our furry one, Francis, and our human one, Carol.

Carol looks after Francis, plays with us, and pays the rent. She’s very useful to have around. She has given us these names.

Sleepy: spends most of his most of time in sleeping and eating. He is Frances’ favorite kid.
Grumpy: only looks that way. How grumpy can a kitten be, after all?
Shakey: always shakes her head to figure out what’s happening around her.
Fuzzy: Biggest of all the babies and has very fluffy fur. He reminds me HPC alumna Fuzzy!
Trouble: very independent and likes to explore the world by herself. She always gets into fights with her siblings to ensure the nipple spot, especially fighting with Fuzzy. She is Frances’ second favorite kid.
