Their fosterers report that siblings Samson and Delilah (under 1 year old) are adjusting well to their apartment. At first, the two of them were very shy, Samson more so than his sister. But after a couple of weeks, they’re really starting to come out of their shells!
Delilah loves to be the center of attention. She will come up to you wherever you’re sitting in the apartment and make these silly meow/screaming noises until you start to pet her. She really is a chatty cat. Delilah loves being pet and sitting on your lap/in your arms while you read a book, watch TV, or go on the computer. Really, she just wants to be in contact with you all the time and hates being confined to only one room when you’re not there. This little girl can eat though! She also loves playing with scraps of paper, toys, and the laser pointer.
Samson is more reserved and spends a lot of time in different hiding spots around the apartment. He’s starting to come out of his shell a lot and loves getting scratched on his cheeks and snuggling. He has to be the one to initiate, but just like his sister, loves the attention when he wants it. Samson also loves the laser pointer, but is not as interested in other toys, and prefers to sit and watch his sister play with us if he’s not in the mood to join in.
Both of them are lovely kitties and we’re so happy to have them at home with us. You’ll hear the two of them playing, or see them cuddled in the back of the closet, or hear them exploring the apartment at night. They’re becoming less shy, but definitely are still skittish and need time and sensitivity to get used to new surroundings and new people.

Would they do well with children
Hi Valerie, thanks for your question, which I have passed along to our adoption coordinator. She will be in touch soon. All best, Melissa
