“We’ve come a long way together! She used to keep her distance most of the time. Now, she loves getting attention! She likes to follow me around to watch whatever I’m doing. When she wants to be petted, she flops down on the floor in front of me and rolls around. She approached me and initiated contact for the first time a few days ago, which is very exciting! She still gets startled by sudden noises or movement, but she’s much more comfortable now than she used to be. She still has a little ways to go in terms of living with humans, but we’re really getting there!”
