We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all those who shared Jezebel’s story and donated toward her medical fund. We are very pleased to announce that we have reached our goal of raising $1,000 to pay for the surgery on Jezebel’s eye!

The donations continue to come in, so any gifts above our initial goal of $1,000 will be used to get her other eye stitched up. While removing her remaining eye is the more urgent procedure, getting the other eye sutured up was going to be necessary down the road. By getting both eyes taken care of at the same time, we will be able to minimize the risk of complications from surgery. This will also make Jezebel more adoptable because potential adopters won’t have to worry about a future vet bill!

Any contributions that come in above the total cost of surgery on both eyes will go toward veterinary care for other cats in our program. Thank you so much to our amazing donors. We couldn’t do it without you.
