Pistou and Truffle (tuxedo) were adopted as kittens 9 years ago (throwback photo below) — and now they are back and looking for a new home together! They are just the sweetest. Pistou is definitely a lap sitter and a purrer.

As the person who adopted their mom, the cat formerly known as Sweet Pea, I can attest that they come from an awesome gene pool! (Truffle looks just like my Maya, by the way, and sounds by implication like she might have Maya’s cautious but affectionate personality.) If I could handle two more cats I would snap them up. I hope they end up in the loving home they deserve.
Wonderful, thanks for this! If you have a photo to share I’ll do an update on Sweet Pea on our facebook page and a shout out to Truffle and Pistou! (my email is mlanderson6@wisc.edu). It sounds like they are doing great, I don’t know the specifics of why they were surrendered but I hear they are in great shape, healthy and happy. <3 -Melissa
I’m glad to hear they’re doing well. I do occasionally wonder how Maya’s kittens turned out, so I was delighted to see this post, even though the circumstances surrounding it are unfortunate. I’d be happy to have you do an update on Maya, especially if it will help out her kittens; I’ll look through my photos of her tonight and send you a couple tomorrow.
Terrific, thank you! -Melissa
