Duck needs heart surgery. We rescued little eight-week old Duck from Chicago Animal Care & Control to find that Duck’s heart is enlarged due to a congenital defect called a PDA (patent ductus arteriosus).
It is operable with a great prognosis, but Duck needs this surgery within the next four weeks to survive, and the surgery will cost between $4000 and $5000.
