Meet Hoji, a ~1-year old gray and white tabby who’s slowly but surely learning the ropes of being a cuddly housecat. He can be shy and skittish when he’s adjusting to a new environment/people, but has really opened up and become very affectionate!
Hoji will always accept head pets and chin scratches, and loves to hang out in the same room as you. His favorite things include looking out the window, sunbathing (he will intensely groom while doing so), food puzzle toys, and food in general. He is also *very* vocal when he feels lonely or hungry, and will meow repeatedly (especially for breakfast).
With the help of treats, Hoji has been very trainable and we’re working on getting him comfortable with getting held and sitting in laps. He is still learning how to play with toys and use trees/scratchers, but we’re confident that will come with time.
Hoji was rescued when he was quite young and small, so he may benefit from having other cats around to socialize with and learn from!
