La Bella Luna was being TNR’d (“trapped, neutered, returned”) last week, but it turns out that she was just TN’d and not R’d.
One of our affiliates borrowed a trap, caught this cat, and took her to Paws as a feral cat. HPC did the scheduling, ordered the services, and covered the cost.
During the recovery period, the trapper wondered if the cat was truly feral or just a scared friendly.
These pictures give you the answer.
A truly feral cat would not be happy inside – the humane thing to do is TNR them. But many outdoor cats are abandoned friendlies who are scared and behave at first as if feral.
So welcome to HPC La Bella Luna. LBL is on our waiting list for a foster home and will be available for adoption with a bit more socialization.
