Peter is a sweet and loving young cat, probably a little less than two years old, who was found in an alley by the volunteer who feeds feral cats there. He was injured, limping and dragging his left hind leg. X-Rays determined that his pelvis had been broken, probably by being hit by a car a number of weeks earlier. We consulted a specialist who determined that his bones had healed satisfactorily and he didn’t have to have surgery. After a few weeks of good food and rest, he walks normally, though he isn’t a great jumper.
Peter is now healthy and ready to find his forever home. He is incredibly affectionate and likes nothing more than snuggling with his foster mom and giving nudges and kisses, as he demonstrates with his foster grandma (photo below). Peter doesn’t get along well with other cats, so he will do best in a home with no other cats. We don’t know whether he gets along with dogs. He is a lover boy! Also, he likes to play and chase things.
