Spot is an approximately 1-2 year old male neutered domestic short hair cat that was brought to the Hyde Park Animal Hospital by some young boys who saw him get hit by a car. As a result of the accident, Spot suffered trauma to his spinal cord. He has decreased use of both of his back legs but this does not stop Spot from motoring all over our hospital! He will probably always walk a little “funny” but Spot will make a great new cat for someone (with the added benefit that although he can jump down off of things he won’t be able to jump up on your counters!). He uses his litter box great and is so loving and affectionate. He likes to “coo” as people walk past his cage and loves to sit on the doctor’s laps while they work on the computer. Spot is up to date on vaccines and ready to find a loving home!
