Life Time Half Marathon | September 27, 2026 | Chicago, IL

We invite you to participate and fundraise on behalf of Hyde Park Cats, an official charity partner of the 2026 Life Time Chicago Half Marathon! Every dollar you raise goes directly to supporting cats on the South Side of Chicago.

Hyde Park Cats is an all-volunteer 501©(3) rescue organization helping cats in and around Chicago’s Hyde Park since 2008. What began as a group of volunteers working to better the lives of community cats has grown into a robust intake-and-adoption program. Over our nearly 20 years in existence, we’ve adopted out over 2,000 cats and facilitated over 2,500 spay/neuter surgeries with local clinics.

The race will take you through the beautiful Hyde Park and Kenwood neighborhoods, with views of Jackson Park and the Lakefront. While you run, know that you’re fundraising for a local organization that directly supports the people and places you pass! All funds raised will go directly to vet care, food, and adoption support for Hyde Park Cats cats.

Fundraising requirement: $500

When you sign up, you receive:

• Entry to the Life Time Fall Half (paid for by Hyde Park Cats)
• Fundraising web page and assistance
• Team gear (a Hyde Park Cats hat)
• The knowledge that you’re supporting cats in Hyde Park and on Chicago’s South Side!
