Mamba has been coming out as quite the cuddly and playful cat over the last couple weeks! Mamba and resident cat Rocky are getting friendlier everyday–just yesterday, Mamba even let Rocky lick her!

Her fosterer reports: Mamba had seemed like a somewhat serious cat, but about a week ago, I was looking at her page on the HPC website from when she was a kitten, and saw that she used to chase her tail. Well, either Mamba can read or she can read minds, because not 10 minutes later, I saw her batting at her tail and rolling around on the floor! Since then, she has been more and more playful, and loves to chase our laser pointer, and even wrestle with Rocky.

Mamba also loves to circle around me while I’m working on my homework, whether I’m at the table or on the couch, until I finally give in and pet her. She’s very polite, though, and never steps or flops over onto my computer, although she is quite vocal when she thinks it’s her turn for attention. She especially loves to sit on a box next to my desk and sleep while I work, occasionally meowing for attention or peering up to see what I’m working on.

Mamba would be a great cat for anyone who likes to work at home and needs a little bit of cuddling and entertainment in their life!
