Chipps is a handsome young male white and brown tabby. A caring community member found him one cold night in Chicago, brought him inside, and got in touch with Hyde Park Cats. He was very dirty and very hungry and very grateful to find food and warmth.

He has been fully vetted–neutered, chipped, vaccinated, and tested neg/neg for FIV/Felv.

Chipps is affectionate, playful, and enjoys being with people. His fosterer writes that “he is a very lively, energetic cat. He is not shy, and warms up quickly to new people! He follows me around the house, especially when I’m getting ready in the morning–he’ll hop on the dresser and sit by my makeup, then follow me into the bathroom and perch on the sink while I brush my teeth. He loves to be petted, and tolerates being picked up. He’s very talkative, meowing often and purring when he’s happy (which is pretty much whenever you pet him). He loves to play with his feather, and also with ping pong balls, which he likes to bounce and chase around the house.”
