Patrick’s fosterer is quite fond of him writing in a recent update that: “Patrick is a very entertaining cat. He is young and still very kittenish. His entrance into a room is typically preceded by the sound of galloping cat feet. He likes to playfully ambush me — he hides under beds or around corners, waits for me to walk by, and then leaps out and wraps his paws around my leg, before scampering off to hide again. Patrick is quite talkative, though the noises he makes are more of a chirping purr than a meow. “Chirrrrrup?” he calls (frequently) when he wants my attention, or if I am in another room and he wants to know where I am. Patrick likes to sleep on the bed near my feet at night, or on the couch with me while I am reading or watching tv. He is a very confident cat, and approaches strangers without hesitation. Patrick needs to be an only cat, as he does not seem to get along well with other cat housemates (though I think he would probably be fine with a dog). He is a bit nippy, not because he wants to hurt but because he is playing or expressing love through nipping. Patrick is very smart and inquisitive. He has a special food dish that requires him to reach down into a tube to drag out a kernel of cat chow; he seems to enjoy the challenge and entertainment of fishing his food out of the dish. Patrick loves playing with toys or chasing a string; he has a squeaky mouse toy that he bats all over the house. Patrick is a very sweet guy with a real zest for life.”
He is fully vetted, neutered and neg/neg for FIV/FeLV.
