Lars is a fun, lovable and easy-going cat. He’s on the younger side but he’s super chill. Lars does stalk Earl the Roomba, while he’s cleaning, just to show Earl he’s keeping an eye on him.

Lars is usually under the desk while I’m working or at my feet on the couch or in bed.

Lars really enjoys head rubs and will head butt your hand to remind you that he likes them. However, I’ve been introducing him to cheek and chin scratches and he’s realizing those are also nice. He also enjoys gazing out the window.

Lars has tested positive for FiV and FelV. He can live safely with dogs or with cats (if they got along) who have been vaccinated against FelV.

He sleeps a good part of the day and is no doubt dreaming about dinner because he gets quite excited for his nightly wet food meal. And he enjoys a follow-up dessert of Temptation treats.

His favorite toy is a rather large stuffed mouse. When he carries it around in his mouth he meows rather loudly so you know he has it. It may be a bit startling the first time Lars brings the mouse to bed and you wake up to a mouse looking at you in the middle of the night.

Lars is a really sweet boy who adjusts to new environments quickly, isn’t high maintenance and will make a great companion.
