Kitten Beauty, now Madeleine, has come a long way in the two weeks since she was rescued south of Hyde Park, underweight and covered in fleas. When she first arrived, she was too worn out to do anything but eat and sleep, but now she is playing with her toys and racing around like a healthy kitten. Her recent visit to the vet revealed that she has gained almost a pound! Instead of the 2.5 lbs of two weeks ago, she is 3.3 lbs today, and it shows in her shiny coat and the amount of energy she has. Madeleine is FIV/FeLV negative, and her outrageous flea infestation is history.
Madeleine is a very sweet kitten. She loves to climb all over her fosterer, she loves to cuddle, and she loves to give kisses. She keeps herself busy by playing with her Cat Dancer, dragging a small stuffed rat (that’s almost as big as she is) around by his tail, and napping in sunbeams.
