**I am adoption pending!**

Miles entered one of our foster homes this week.

He and a smaller black cat, Davis, were seen outside by a caring community member who fed them, got both of them vetted, and looked after them until we had space to admit them.

Miles seems happy to be back on the inside, we’re sure you’ll agree.

Although shy at first, Josephine Baker is really warming up to her new foster home.

Her fosterers report that she continues to make great progress. She loves the laser pointer!

Many cats are scared in a new environment but with a few easy tips, you can make them feel more comfortable and confident in a fairly short time.

JB found herself on the street where she was taken in by a kind community member who has been fostering her until HPC could admit her. She is fully vetted and ready for her next forever home (or she will be after a few days there!)
