Sweet Marqui recently moved foster homes so that his former fosterer could take in a mom and kittens.
You can see how happy he is in this pix – and how willing he is to lend a paw around the kitchen.
His new fosterer reports Marqui is doing very well! Very friendly also to people he doesn’t know. He loves company and wants to be as close as possible to one of us all the time. He’s really a sweetheart!!!

Diamond Jim
1-2 year old Diamond Jim showed up at a cat colony that no longer exists (a former junkyard, now soon-to-be condo building). He is also super friendly!
At the vet’s office he surprised his fosterer by rubbing against her leg and he letting the vet give him pills and a shot. At the vet, DJ also sat on his caretaker’s lap and let her pick him up. What a sweetie. Some cats just know when they have been rescued!
His caretaker reached out to us and will foster him until HPC foster spaces opens up.
Diamond Jim is a true diamond in the rough. He is FIV+ and half of his tail is missing, poor thing. We think he used to be someone’s pet. What a story he could tell if he could speak.
