Update on Ella and Fitz!

How cute are Fitz and Ella? We were able to admit them recently (http://hydeparkcats.org/ella-and-fitz/) and their fosterer sent in this great update. As usual, to meet this lovely duo write to us at hydeparkcatsadoptions@gmail.com !

Fitz (he has the spot on his noise!) continues to be very curious and very affectionate—he wants to be wherever the humans are, helping out, whether that means investigating the dishwasher or plopping himself into our laps while we’re working to stare at the computer screen and provide purring encouragement.

Ella, who started out shy and a little skittish, has become very friendly and cuddly. She’s developed a quiet meow, which she utilizes very effectively to indicate that she wants someone to sit down in a comfy spot so that she can jump up and be scratched.

When they’re not following the humans around, these siblings love to race each other around the apartment–pausing to wrestle, give each other baths, or investigate the contents of the nearest basket—and find comfy and creative positions in which to nap.

Friendly Philip was found by a caring community member and has joined our adoption program. He is fully vetted and estimated at the vet office to be about one year old.

As you can see, he’s a happy chappy now that he is back on the inside!

When he was first rescued he walked into a carrier (!) and snoozed happily all day. Many cats react like this when rescued – they are just so grateful to be off the street.

To meet Philip, give us a shout at hydeparkcatsadoptions@gmail.com, we’d love to hear from you!
