**I am adoption pending!**
Mercury is about 1 year old and wonderfully affectionate. His fosterer calls this gorgeous guy a “treasure.”
He came to us in urgent need of vet care 1 week ago.
Thanks to the quick response of our volunteers (thank you Vicky and Mitch!), Mercury was rushed to the vet and underwent surgery to remove a string that had embedded itself in his neck.
We are happy to report that Mercury came through surgery with flying colors and is now in emergency foster space, where he is much adored.
