***7/14 update, Pervis, Pops, and Cleo adopted!**
Meet the Staples kittens!
Pops
Orange-striped Pops is the biggest of the four and most definitely the leader of the group with loads of personality. Check out what looks to be a mohawk based on the coloring on his head.
The other kittens follow him out of hiding and mostly let him eat first but will butt in if he takes too long or if it appears there will be nothing left for them.
He’s crazy for the toy on the stick but will play with all the mice and various toys available within reach. He’s loving the chin rubs!
Cleo
Boy, this predominately orange and white girl can sing and she practices quite loudly around dinner time and while she’s catting around at night.
She wants to do whatever Pops is doing and is patient with him when he wrestles with her. She also appreciates that he cleans her face.
She’s taken it upon herself to investigate busting out of here by climbing and jumping on things and studying the situation with the window to see if she can free the family.
Pervis
Sweet little light orange cat whose much more shy about coming out and exploring but will do it after dinner if all of his family is out playing. He patiently waits until everyone else has eaten.
He cuddles with Mavis quite a lot and doesn’t seem to mind that she’s often laying on top of him. He really enjoys the scratching pad and has gotten some good practice using it.
He’s got a tiny squeak of a meow so he most likely will be singing back up to his more vocal brother and sisters.
Mavis
Mavis is mostly white with orange accents and keeps a close eye on Pervis who she prefers to cuddle with as much as possible, but she’s up for trying anything that Pops and Cleo is doing.
She hasn’t yet been able to jump on anything taller than a cat carrier, but she doesn’t give up!
