Adoptable 4-year-old Prairie has been helping her fosterers through these strange times, keeping them company, and contributing her fair share of working-from-home energy. She is sweet, comes up to you and rubs up against you and lies down while you scratch her head, chin, ears, and back.

She has this interesting way of meowing to call you to her, followed by a hiss, then a growl then more meowing. The first time you hear it, it startles you but then you realize that she’s not threatening you, I guess it’s just her way of talking to you. It’s kind of funny to hear. She’s quite soft to the touch!

1-year-old Kenji has a high pitched meow when he wants attention (pretty much all the time).

He is super affectionate, head butts and rubs up against you a lot.

Kenji has tested positive for FIV but he can still live a long, happy and healthy life and can live safely with dogs and other cats who have been spayed or neutered.
