1-year-old Elmi is an outgoing cat who becomes fast friends with anyone he meets. He is a great conversationalist, chirping and meowing whenever he has thoughts or desires. He will happily hold a polite discussion with his people about whether he should in fact jump on the kitchen counter.

He loves pets and cuddles. He is happy to be picked up, and he will gladly play with his own tail in your arms. He will ask for belly rubs whenever his people come home, and his people will often wake up to find him curled up next to them in their bed

Elmi has an incredible stamina for playing. He can play with the same feather wand toy for forty-five minutes and still be raring for more.

Elmi has tested positive for FelV twice. Many cats who test positive for this condition never exhibit symptoms and can live long normal lives. It is important that they live only with other FelV positive cats, although they can live safely with dogs and other pets without risk of transmission.

Before joining HPC, Missy was surrendered to Animal Care and Control because her owner had to move to somewhere without pets.

She is a great adoption candidate since she is so sweet and came from a home. She is 1 year old.

The noises of the shelter scared her at times but she is a sweet cat who is still very much a kitten.

Missy has so much love to share!

She enjoys always being in on the action and can usually be found nearby, that being said, she still is easily spooked by any loud sounds or sudden movements. However, it doesn’t take long for Missy to come trotting right back once the coast seems clear.

Missy loves play-time, especially wand toys and toy soccer balls which she bats around the apartment like a pro.

After tuckering herself out, Missy will often cuddle up next to you on the couch – she loves head pets and nuzzling up against you, and will show it with purrs.

She is definitely a lover of treats and can be quite vocal when getting excited before meal time! She’s always excited to meet new people and we can’t wait for her to meet her new family.
