Cordelia

Beautiful, adoptable Cordelia is a feisty sweetheart. She’s probably about a year old, and spent a few weeks lost in Hyde Park during the winter before being rescued and brought into foster.

She’s super fluffy and absolutely gorgeous, and a huge cuddlebug. She loves to be in the same room as her human, either playing, cuddling, or just laying a few feet away keeping you company. She gives frequent kisses and sometimes chases feet, but she’s getting better about using toys and the scratching post instead. She’s a good eater and always uses the litter box.

Cordelia is very vocal; she has lots of thoughts and wants to tell you all of them. She’s great with people, and a fearless explorer. Since she’s so young and social, she needs a lot of attention, love, play, and cuddles. She’d do well in a home where she gets plenty of attention throughout the day, and can be near her humans at night. She’d probably enjoy having another cat buddy to play with, too!

Dale

Adoptable 1-year-old Dale is the sweetest shy boy you might encounter. When he first arrived at his foster home, Dale was too scared to come out from under the bed. Since then, he has come to love his humans (even stressed college seniors). He is still easily spooked by sudden noises, or fast-approaching people, but he has shown to be incredibly social.

Dale loves pets. Whenever he really gets into it, (which is quite often) he either starts making biscuits with his little paws, or he flops to his side showing his big belly. Dale also loves cuddling, and whenever his humans have a full day and are away for a longer period than usual, he is sure to give them some extra love.

Other than cuddling, Dale’s favorite activities involve watching TV (special mentions to cat tv and ice skating videos), perching and playing with small toys he can catch and hide. He can be silly sometimes, for example, by still not having figured out how to play with a wand toy. (He once caught the toy and tried running away with it, without realizing that the wand was being dragged behind. He now may or may not be afraid of it). Even though he has got new toys, his favorite one might still be an old chapstick he stole.

Finally, Dale is also very chatty. He is the type of buddy that will want to have deep discussions about the meaning of life and the universe until 3 in the morning. A possible ideal owner for Dale is someone patient who can give him plenty of attention. He would also probably enjoy more play time.
