Trumbull

4-year-old Trumbull is very playful and curious. He enjoys watching things out the window, and playing with string and feather toys. He loves to be patted, hugged, and have his chin scratched.

As a typical orange cat, Trumbull is one of the most outgoing cats you will meet – he is a true dog-lover’s cat. He is comfortable around lots of people, loud noises, and new environments. He feels at home wherever he is. He is very talkative and has many adorable vocalizations.

Trumbull is a sweet ginger cat whose favorite activities are sleeping, watching out the window, and chasing toys down the corridor. He’s a very relaxed and easy-going cat who adapts quickly to new people and places, and would be perfect for someone who wants a relatively low-energy kitty.

He loves pets – especially chin scratches and belly rubs – and he will roll around on the floor until you give him some! He doesn’t mind being held and will often say hello to his human friends by rubbing past their legs. He also makes a variety of adorable vocalizations, from purrs and chirps to trills and high-pitched meows.

He enjoys fresh air and often wants to hang out in the sunshine on his foster mom’s balcony (which he does while properly harnessed). He also loves being brushed – he sheds quite a bit of hair, but brushing definitely helps with that! While he is not the type to sleep with his humans all night long, he will happily cuddle with you before bed and regularly comes by to say hello in the morning.

In general, he is not very food motivated, though he does enjoy an occasional treat! He likes catnip a lot, and catnip-filled toys are a big hit for him.If you throw toys for him, he sometimes likes to chase them down, but he definitely will not fetch them back for you.

Skylar

6-year-old Skylar (black and white) is a bit shy when you first meet her, but she loves her fosterers. One of her favorite ways to connect is to balance her “loaf” on top of her fosterer when he’s sleeping on his side. She also loves pets and cuddles, and will imprint to her favorite person. She demonstrates some interest and potential friendliness towards dogs. We think she would do best in a patient household that will appreciate her and let her explore it on her own time.
