1-year-old Honey is a Persian mix who offers the best of both worlds: he is a rambunctious cat who will literally tears toys apart but also has a definite sweet, gentle side, melting immediately in your arms when you pick him up.

He has a luxurious coat of white fur as well as a cute, high-pitched meow, which he will use often to whine about his incessant hunger, or just to randomly express himself throughout the day.

Despite his energetic personality, Honey is only a little bit of a troublemaker around the house. This makes him a fantastic playmate and cuddle buddy even for less experienced cat adopters.

Honey also fares very well with other cats, though perhaps plays better with cats his own age.

Honey has chronic eye discharge which is likely related to his being a persian mix. Their eye tear ducts are underdeveloped.

It is not indicative of a health problem.

Fresno is settling in like a pro. He is litter box trained. He’s very vocal when he wants something, especially food. Once he’s eaten, he turns into a lap kitty.

He’s learning about toys. He’s very confident and hasn’t hidden since he arrived. He’s impatient with meals and tries to grab the bowl but that’s improving.

He’s really smart and follows direction. He’s a mix of high energy and chill.
