2-year-old Ernest is a sweet, young boy who has adapted very quickly to life indoors.
He is so affectionate and cuddly.
He is still learning to play with toys and has not warmed up to the dog in the house yet.
He is happy to sit next to you or on your lap and purr while you scratch his head or hold his big feet.
He is just content to be nearby.

Adoptable Mathilda’s fosterer writes: “Mathilda is a young, active cat who is never uninterested when her favorite toy is waved in front of her. Her favorite game is to use a post or the walls of her bed to hide behind, keenly follow the movement of the toy with only her eyes out and then pounce on it. She likes to run around, tossing toys by herself as well, but is very well mannered and has never knocked anything down.
She also loves to eat, and has gobbled up every kind of food I’ve given her. Mathilda will follow me into the kitchen and meow constantly, because she knows that’s where I get my food and she wants some for herself too. When she sees that I’m awake in the morning, she climbs up to the bed purring and snuggling, gently reminding me it’s time for breakfast.
Mathilda’s current favorite place is by the windowsill. She loves to watch whatever’s outside, or take a nap in the sunlight. I tried to take a picture but could not, as she jumps down meowing whenever I approach her at the window. She will also generally lie everywhere, and take naps in weird adorable positions. She loves attention and will roll over with her belly up when she’s happy.
Mathilda is generally purring when I am sitting down near her, but is very specific on when she wants me to pet her. She will bite affectionately, or put me down with her paw when she doesn’t want to be touched. When she does want to be pet, she will happily rub her chin against my hand.”
