Anabelle

3-4 year-old Anabelle is very shy when presented with new people and new places. You can expect her to need a several-week adjustment period when she moves into her forever home, but this kitty is worth your patience! Once she gets comfortable, she is a fun, quirky, sweet little cat that is likely to form strong bonds with her favorite humans.

It is often said that cats are primarily motivated by food – Anabelle is motivated by petting. She loves to roll around on the floor or sofa, purring like crazy while she is scratched and stroked. She will then gaze at you longingly if she thinks you have stopped petting her too soon. Although she is not yet ready to be a lap cat, but there is every reason to believe she will get there eventually. In addition to her very generous purr, Anabelle likes to express her feelings to her human friends with a variety of barely audible mews, chirps, and trills.

Anabelle enjoys solo play with her favorite mouse toy – stalking it, pouncing, and gleefully tossing it into the air as she gallops around the room. Stairs and felt balls are other play time favorites. Wand toys are to be avoided (at least at first), as they make her nervous.

Anabelle is not adventurous when it comes to eating, preferring to stick with dry kibbles and water. She is open, however, to eating a variety of different dry foods.

Anabelle has successfully lived with other cats but would likely do equally well as a solo cat if she is living with humans who can give her lots of attention.

Lala

2-year-old Lala is VERY social and loves to hang around with people and plays with the human residents all throughout the day. She likes fair bit of attention from everyone. She’s very curious and active, likes to explore. She’s comfortable with new people as long as they respect her boundaries. She really loves playing with the fishing rod toy and is a vicious huntress. Playing with fishing toy with her is the best way to bond with her.

She loves sitting on cat tree. She’s affectionate and would rub around you. Her meows when asking for food are very adorable. She’s okay with being picked up. If you’re lucky you’ll catch her purring sometimes.

Lala has tested positive for FelV. Many cats who test positive for FelV never exhibit symptoms and can live long normal lives. It is important that they live only with other FelV positive cats, although they can live safely with dogs and other pets without risk of transmission.
