Kiki

Adoptable 12-year-old senior Kiki is a lap cat through and through. She loves cuddles and will reach out her little paws to tap you when she wants some pets.

She loves to lay on your chest and rub her face into yours and take a nap on you while you’re working. She happily sleeps in bed at her human’s feet and likes to be nearby whatever room you’re in. However she is also fine on her own, She has never had issues with being alone for 12+ hours a day.

Kiki would make a great companion for anyone looking for a sweet, loving and silly senior cat. She loves attention but is good at being independent. Food motivated! Stand-offish at first with other cats, possibly partially deaf as she seems unaware when approached from behind. Once acclimated mostly co-exists with other cats. Could live with a SMALL low-energy dog. Has never lived with children but has no problem with guests and has met a baby around 8 months old and was confused, but not offensive. She currently lives in a household with frequent guests and that regularly plays loud music. Could live with kids that respect her boundaries.

No litterbox issues. Likes: Catnip stuffed toys, crinkle balls, cardboard scratchers that are flat to the ground, feather wand toys, looking out the window, cave beds. Dislikes: Nail trims. Good at the vet — does well in the car and allows all handling by veterinarians.

Julia and Tulia

Bonded pair Julia and Tulia are two energetic 4-month-old girls who love wrestling each other. They have been growing at a light speed during time they stay with their fosterers but still believe that they can fit together in one tray on the cat tree, however uncomfortable that looks. Julia is the most easy-going kitty. She loves cuddles, belly rubs, “boop”s on the nose and would purr like a motorboat the second she is picked up. Tulia is the most curious explorer. She chirps for squirrels outside the window and pounces for your moving feet under the blanket. Right now Tulia is still a little bit skittish of her human roommates but can’t resist following Julia around. They are bonded and will thrive in a home that they can get all the love and play time they need. Write to us at hydeparkcatsadoptions@gmail.com to meet them!
