In the words of Jane Austen, Miss Jane Fairfax is “a very pretty and a very well-behaved young lady indeed.” She is a skilled conversationalist and a gentle companion, happy to receive anyone who comes through the door, both children and adults. She has a mature sense of entertainment–looking out the window, scratching on her scratcher–and doesn’t much go for gimmicky toys. Mostly, she just wants to spend time snuggling with you. If she hasn’t seen you for a while, she will stomp her front paws in excitement of your return and then promptly roll over for a belly rub. With her good looks and charm, she will make a delightful addition to any family!

Meet adoptable, 1-year-old Sweet Charlotte! After a short period of adjustment, she will be running, jumping and rolling.

Yes, she will do all three on a regular basis.

If you want to see a happy cat, do the following:

Let her greet you with a nose rub and runny rub;

Serve her favorite soft food — salmon, tuna, chicken, turkey;

Provide her with a treehouse and she will climb to the top in no time;

She enjoys being cleaned with a warm damp towel as part of her grooming process;

At bedtime, she will sit on your chest for a minute and look at you in the eye while purring. She will eventually step aside and allow you to sleep;

You want to play? You name the game and she will respond;

Give her extra space if you can because she loves running at high speed;

This lady loves her human companions, but also does well with other cats.
