Sneezy and Zippy need a loving home!

Sneezy and Zippy are looking for homes, together or separately! They are sisters and have both been front declawed.

Sneezy is a five year old brown tabby that was brought indoors at roughly six months old. Once she’s acclimated, she loves to snuggle on the couch during TV time and sleep against you during the night. Even though she lives in a multi-cat household, we think she would be happy as the only cat too. You can view a short video of her cuddling with sister Zippy at http://divita2012.tumblr.com/

Zippy gets her name from how she zips around the apartment, Zippy is a five year old domestic short hair that is the matriarch of her multi-cat household. Fond of catnip, she also loves playing with her toys and will occasionally bring one to you and drop it at your feet. Once she’s comfortable in her surroundings, you can count on her joining you to sleep either snuggling under the covers by your chest or on top of the covers by your feet. If you are new here, welcome to Hyde Park Cats! We are a confederation of volunteers working in and around Hyde Park to help cats and kittens in need. HPC does not have a shelter, but rather we are a network of foster homes. We have had over 400 adoptions since our founding in 2007. We are a 100% volunteer organization.

Looking to get involved in a great organization with a good cause?

If you are interested in adopting, check out our up-to-date photo page of our available cats and kittens here: http://hydeparkcats.org/adopt/ For more information, including our adoption application, please contact us at hydeparkcatsadoptions@gmail.com For more on our adoption policies, see our information page here: http://hydeparkcats.org/available/

If you are interested in fostering, read more about the benefits of fostering on our page here: http://hydeparkcats.org/fostering-cats/ and contact us at hydeparkcats@gmail.com to apply!

If you are interested in donating to help us help cats and kittens in need, we accept donations through our pay pal account (link in upper right hand of this page, the golden paw print). We also gladly accept donations of food, litter, toys, scratching posts, etc. Open bags ok! If you have something to donate, contact us at hydeparkcats@gmail.com or on this page. We also receive donations via Parker’s, a natural dag and cat market in Hyde Park where they have a donation bin. This fabulous pet supply store also offers discounts on items purchased for us.
