Welcome Daphne!

Meet kitten Daphne! We think that she is about 12 weeks old. She hasn’t been vetted yet – we are waiting for her to gain some weight – but she will be available for adoption.

Daphne was found by a caring Hyde Parker in a school car park 50 blocks north of HP. Asking around, she discovered that the kitten had been there for a few days, so brought her home.

Daphne, named in honor of her finder, is playful, active, and curious. Her coat is sleek and glossy and she submits to a nail trim as if nothing is happening. Daphne is fully socialized and does fine with dogs. She just needs some calories!

Write to us at hydeparkcatsadoptions@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting Daphne.

Amara and kittens

If you are new here, welcome to Hyde Park Cats! We are a confederation of volunteers working in and around Hyde Park to help cats and kittens in need. All of our adoptable kitties live in loving foster homes, and we have had well over 400 adoptions since our founding in 2008. We are a 100% volunteer organization.

Looking to get involved in a great organization dedicated to helping cats in need?

If you are interested in adopting, check out our up-to-date photo page of our available cats and kittens here: http://hydeparkcats.org/adopt/ For more information, including our adoption application, please contact us at hydeparkcatsadoptions@gmail.com For more on our adoption policies, see our information page here: http://hydeparkcats.org/available/

If you are interested in fostering, read more about the benefits of fostering on our page here: http://hydeparkcats.org/fostering-cats/ and contact us at hydeparkcats@gmail.com to apply. We always need fosterers–more fosterers means helping more cats, and every person who fosters for us makes a real difference in saving a life, or several!

If you are interested in donating, we accept donations through our pay pal account (link in upper right hand of this page, the golden paw print). We also gladly accept donations of food, litter, toys, scratching posts, etc. Open bags ok! If you have something to donate, contact us at hydeparkcats@gmail.com or on this page. We also receive donations via Parker’s, a natural dag and cat market in Hyde Park where they have a donation bin. This fabulous pet supply store offers discounts on items purchased for us.

If you are interested in volunteering, there are many ways to get involved, and we always need new volunteers. To find out more, email us at hydeparkcats@gmail.com and follow us on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/HydeParkCats
