Welcome to Hyde Park Cats! We are a confederation of volunteers working in and around Chicago’s Hyde Park to help cats and kittens in need. All of our adoptable kitties live in loving foster homes. We received our 501©(3) status this year and have had over 500 adoptions since our founding in 2008, and more than 100 adoptions already in 2014!

We also welcome donations of food, litter, toys, scratching posts, etc. Open bags ok! If you have something to donate, contact hydeparkcats@gmail.com or on this page. We also receive donations via Parker’s, a natural dog and cat market in Hyde Park where they have a donation bin. This fabulous pet supply store offers discounts on items purchased for us.

If you are interested in volunteering, we’d love to hear from you. There are many ways to get involved, and we always need new volunteers to help out at events, transport cats, post flyers, and with many other aspects of cat rescue.
